As is the practice with whatever newest and coolest gadget out there, people are taking advantage of the demand from early adopters by reselling the Amazon Kindle on Ebay for as much as $1500.

OK I understand if this was a game console like the Wii or some other gadget which you can’t really approximate the experience with a different item but a whopping $1500 for a Kindle ?! Who are these people ?

I mean for that amount you could have bought either a Windows Mobile Phone, an iPhone, an Asus Eee PC or some other gadget to read your eBooks with, waited a couple of months for the Amazon Kindle and you would still have saved money.

Or here’s an idea: how about just buying the actual book. Heck for $1000 you could buy a bunch of books, read it on the beaches of boracay and have someone give you a massage all at the same time. Beat that Kindle…
